How long does reupholstery take?

Most residential pieces (a single chair or sofa) are completed in 2–4 weeks from fabric approval. Larger sets, antique restorations, and commercial orders range from 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. Rush service is available where the schedule allows.

Is reupholstering cheaper than buying new?

For well-built furniture — solid hardwood frames, quality springs — reupholstery is almost always the better investment. You keep the structural quality that modern mass-produced furniture rarely matches, choose your own fabric, and extend the life of the piece by 20+ years. We offer free consultations to help you decide if your piece is worth restoring.

What kind of fabrics do you offer?

We work with premium supplier collections from Kravet, Duralee, J&F Fabrics, Spinneybeck, Ennis, Robert Allen, Master Fabrics, Elite Textiles, and others. Performance fabrics for families with kids and pets, commercial-grade for restaurants and hotels, marine-grade for boats, and heirloom-quality silks, velvets, and mohair for restorations. Do you work on antiques and family heirlooms?

Absolutely. Heirloom restoration is one of our specialties. We use period-correct techniques — hand-tied springs, traditional horsehair padding, historically-accurate detail — when appropriate. A decade of experience with antique frames means we know when to preserve and when to modernize.
